Cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography

Dec 22, 2010   |   by German Heart Centre   |   News  |  No Comments

This scene leads the observer through cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography. This procedure should be performed, whenever there is suspicion of significant coronary artery disease, as it remains the Gold Standard in the diagnosis of this potentially life-threatening condition. It can be clearly seen that the patient is very comfortable during the procedure and quite happy after the subsequent balloon dilatation and stent implantation.
