Dr. Caspar A. Boerner MD, PhD
Dr. Caspar A Boerner studied medicine at the Universities of Antwerp in Belgium, Homburg and Heidelberg in Germany, where he graduated as MD in 1983. In 1985 he received his PhD degree from Heidelberg University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Josephs-Krankenhaus in Heidelberg and was board certified in Internal medicine in 1992. He did his fellowship in cardiology at the North-Rhine-Westphalian Heart and Diabetes Centre in Bad Oeynhausen and was board certified as cardiologist in 1994. In 1996 he joined Dr. Kallmayer and Dr. Lange as associate at their clinic in Bremen, which in 2002 became part of the Bremen State Heart Centre.
Dr. Caspar Boerner has gained extensive experience in all areas of non-invasive and interventional cardiology as an active partner of one of Germany’s busiest and most distinguished cardiovascular centres. His particular interest lies in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography.
Dr. Boerner is Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), the German Society for Internal Medicine, the German Society of Cardiology and a Member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
