German Heart Centre Bremen was established as a company in 2005 and opened for healthcare service in April 2006 at Dubai Healthcare City.

German Heart Centre Bremen was opened as the Dubai branch of Bremen Heart Centre GmbH & Co. KG at Herzzentrum Bremen/Germany. The owners of the parent company are also associates of Kardiologisch-Angiologische Praxis am Klinikum Links der Weser in Bremen, forming the core of Bremen Heart Centre, one of the biggest and busiest of its kind in Germany. In our three cardiac catheterization labs alone, we perform about 8,000 coronary interventions annually. Thus, the emphasis of our branch in Dubai is at least as much on interventional as well as noninvasive cardiology. In 2010, the branch was transformed to German Heart Centre Bremen FZ LLC, a DHCC based company.

At the clinic the full range of non-invasive and out-patient cardiology procedures and treatment is offered.

Invasive and interventional work is done at our partner facilities, The City Hospital at Dubai Healthcare City and the American Hospital, by ourselves and with our experienced staff from Germany.

GHCB is open all year. There are no visiting doctors. All our cardiologists are partners of our German institution and have worked for years at the senior consultant level. The routine exchange of staff between our Dubai and Bremen centers ensures that every specialist continues to be exposed to a high caseload of difficult interventions, which is essential to keep up the excellent level of expertise required in this critical field. In interventional cardiology, high numbers are clearly linked to quality. This explains why so many other cardiology programs in Dubai have failed and finally collapsed in the past.

Also, in contrast to other foreign institutions, we do not intend to gather patients and ship them off to Germany for treatment. It is our strong conviction that the heart patients in Dubai must have access to world class facilities here.
