Dr. Ashraf Hussein

A passionate, accomplished, and patient-centered Interventional Cardiologist with many years of clinical experience in Invasive, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. His expertise includes leadership and guidance during critical treatment decisions as well as coordinating with healthcare professionals across all specialties. Core focus is on exceptional patient care, advanced diagnosis, & preparing comprehensive cardiac treatment plans.

Dr. Ashraf Hussein studied medicine at Saarland University in Germany, where he graduated in 2009. He worked and gained experience in cardiovascular medicine in various hospitals in Germany and completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in 2015 at one of the five largest heart centers in Germany, the Schüchtermann Clinic in Bad Rothenfelde.

He continued working in Germany for 5 years as a Consultant in General and Interventional Cardiology and took part in the 24/7 cardiac catheter duties, where he treated acute emergencies such as patients with acute myocardial infarction or cardiac arrhythmias around the clock. Dr. Ashraf was also the head of the non-invasive sector of the cardiovascular department. He has comprehensive experience in the field of rhythmology, focusing on the diagnostics and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, including pacemaker therapy and prevention of sudden heart death.

He actively participated in a large study to optimize the diagnostic and therapeutic chain in patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

He held lectures and seminars for patients with heart diseases and for the general public in collaboration with the German Heart Foundation.

Dr. Ashraf Hussein holds an additional qualification certificate in Interventional Cardiology from the German Cardiac Society (DGK).
